Within the framework of his working visit to Dnipropetrovsk region, on a ninth kilometer of Zaporizhian highway, President Victor Yushchenko took part in a ceremony of opening of the Memorial to Victims of Holodomor 1932-1933, according to the President`s press-office.
Other participants of the ceremony, who together with President put flowers to the memorial and honored those lost in the Great Famine with a moment of silence, were Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration Head Viktor Bondar, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head Yuriy Vilkul, Dnipropetrovsk Mayor Ivan Kulichenko, other officials.
