Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko vows to publicize lists of legal and private owners of oil and gas wells. The PM announced this to a press conference in Poltava, according to the government’s press-office.
Yulia Tymoshenko disclosed she would commission “Naftohaz Ukrayiny” NJSC, the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to publish the lists. “We’ll hamper criminal business and criminal powers to live peacefully in Ukraine. We will bring the fight against shadow business to a logical conclusion,” the Head of Government stated.
Moreover, the Prime Minister of Ukraine informed that, by the estimates of the government, they plan to channel 100 billion hryvnias to the budget in 2009 due to bringing the country`s economy out of shadow.
