"Our parade is not only to demonstrate our power to our enemies. It is not just to show our allies and partners what we have done for two years, having built and created from scratch a new Ukrainian army, the new Armed Forces and other security forces. Foremost, it is a demonstration to the Ukrainian people that we have the tools and can protect the peace and tranquility of our state and our people," Poroshenko stated.
