Top Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Finance Mykola Azarov claims about the intent of the government to double the country`s gross domestic product in 10 years.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this today, opening the session of the Cabinet of Ministers.
At the same time, the DPM noted that presently the government begins implementing a project of modernization of the state, which is stipulated in the coalition agreement of the Verkhovna Rada factions. “Reforms never go easily. But I’m confident that we will cope with the task”, he said.
He noted that Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych ordered working groups to form blocks of the Program of government’s activities for 5 years. “In fact, the program determines a new industrialization of the country”, M.Azarov stressed.
