World financial crisis to inevitably hit Ukraine – Finance Minister

The world financial crisis will inevitably hit the Ukrainian economics.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Finance Minister of Ukraine Victor Pinzenyk claimed this during a presentation of the draft state budget-2009 in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

“The world risks will inevitably influence the Ukrainian economics”, V.Pynzenyk said.

He pointed out that, considering this fact, the budget deficit must be treated “very conservatively”.

“We should have a very moderate budget deficit. We should not make any serious loads [on the deficit - UNIAN] until the world processes stabilize”, the Minister said.

According to the Minister, the world crisis may influence export branches of the Ukrainian economics, in particular, metallurgy.
