President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko calls the Ukrainian market modern and interesting for Europe.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the President claimed this speaking at the Ukrainian-Swedish Business Forum on Wednesday.
“Ukraine lives through an economic crisis”, the President said, adding that at present “the Ukrainian market is filling with a new financial energy and has brilliant development indices”.
Victor Yushchenko informed about economic growth rates of Ukraine, adding that they show a tendency towards growth. Speaking about different economic branches, Victor Yushchenko, in particular, stressed that, as of today, the Ukrainian agriculture is reviving.
“We can also analyze other sectors of the economics, but I may state that there are no declining sectors in Ukraine”, Victor Yushchenko said.
He turned attention to the positive dynamics of investments into the Ukrainian economics. According to him, in the first half of the current year the investments made up US $7 billion, and over the last 12 months – US $12 billion.
Victor Yushchenko invited the Swedish business in Ukraine, and pledged to assist its development at the Ukrainian market.
“For us Sweden is the leading northern partner”, the Ukrainian President said, having expressed a hope that the two countries relations will broaden in future.
