Kyiv subway to rise in price in November
The Pricing Department proposed new tariffs
The Pricing Department at the Kyiv City State Administration proposed to set up new tariffs on public transport: 2 hryvnias [~ $0.40] for subway (compared to 0.50 hryvnias [~$0.10]), and 1.5 [~ $0.30] hryvnias for other kinds of public transport.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Pricing Department head Vassyl Yastrubynskiy disclosed this to journalists on Wednesday.
According to him, a respective draft resolution will be worked out and posted at the official web site of Kyiv powers in the nearest days.
V.Yastrubynskiy pointed out that if the resolution is adopted, it joins into force in a month. Thus, the tariffs may rise as early as in November.
