A regular eleventh rotation of the Ukrainian part of Ukrpolbat, the Ukrainian-Polish peacekeeping battalion of NATO-led KFOR force in Kosovo, kicked off on Wednesday.

According to the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, the first group of 99 Ukrainian peacekeepers left for Kosovo from Dnipropetrovsk in the morning of October 1. On the same day, 80 peacekeepers of the previous rotation are expected to return in Ukraine.

The next stage of the rotation is scheduled for October 10. Within frames of this stage, 78 Ukrpolbat military men will arrive to Kosovo, and 97 peacekeepers will return in Ukraine.

On the whole, 180 Ukrainian peacekeepers will be replaced within frames of the eleventh rotation.
