In March of the current year, the deflation in Ukraine made up 0.3%, and during January-March the inflation was 2.7%. UNIAN was told about this at the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
According to the information of the Committee, foodstuffs prices in March reduced by 0.3%, non-foods prices did not change, services prices grew by 0.1%.
At the foodstuffs market, the biggest rise was recorded in the prices of cereals, leguminous plants, fruits, sugar – by 6.3%, 3.4%, 1.1%, and 0.7% respectively. Sausages prices grew by 0.1%, bread – by 0.5%.
At the same time, meat and poultry prices reduced by 1.9%, butter – by 0.2%, dairy production – by 1.7%, eggs – by 6.5%, potato – by 1.2%, vegetables – by 3.8%.
At the non-foods market, in particular, the price of shoes grew by 0.1%, printed editions – by 0.4%, building materials – by 0.3%, furniture – by 0.2%.
