President to submit anti-corruption bills to VR

Iryna Herashchenko, Victor Yushchenko`s Press Secretary, has told reporters at a briefing her boss was going to submit several anti-corruption bills to the Verkhovna Rada as a relevant legal basis for the National Unity Pact, according to the President’s press-office.

      The President insists that MPs should immediately pass a bill on the Cabinet of Ministers, whose text is now being thoroughly discussed by Secretariat lawyers and representatives of the government. 

      Ms. Gerashchenko also said fifty thousand copies of the National Unity Pact had been printed to be distributed among the citizens of Ukraine.
