According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, as of October 1, Ukrainian agricultural enterprises (except of small ones) and grain storage and milling enterprises stocked nearly 25.2 mln tonnes of grain, up 77% compared to the same date in the previous year, including 16 mln tonnes of wheat (up 93%), according to APK-Inform.
During January-September period, an average purchasing price for grains totaled 1.050 UAH/t as opposed to 822 UAH/t last year. In September, exporters bought grains at the prices of 924 UAH/t, an increase of 1% compared August.
