Tymoshenko proposes to tighten belts as early as today

The Cabinet of Ministers has prepared draft amendments into the state budget-2008 stipulating budget costs saving.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to a press conference Monday.

“The government has prepared today amendments to the state budget-2008, which will stipulate a serious budget costs saving and, without any doubt, we will have to tighten our belts for the country to have opportunity to live through this world financial crisis”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
