Ukraine`s central bank offered to sell dollars on the interbank market on Thursday at 5.25 hryvnias, its fourth straight day of intervention as the hryvnia currency sank to a record low of 6.0 to the U.S. currency, Reuters reported.

The central bank sold dollars on Wednesday at the same rate.

Dealers said demand for dollars far outstripped supply, depressing the hryvnia to a record low of 6.0 from 5.5-5.6 on Wednesday.
