Mr. Yanukovych informed him of results of his recent visit to Poland and talks he had conducted to develop the Odessa-Brody oil pipeline. (The President is also going to discuss ways to transport Caspian oil from Baku to the Polish city of Plock via Odessa and Brody with his Azeri colleague today.) They both agreed Ukraine should more actively cooperate with its partners in energy projects.

Mr. Yushchenko and Mr. Yanukovych considered the energy security issue and areas of cooperation between the State Secretariat and the Cabinet.
