From November 4 on, a subway ticket in Kyiv will cost 2 hryvnias (about $0.3) and a land transport ticket will cost 1.5 hryvnias ($0.25), Trend reports.

“We will increase ticket prices, including those for subway. We are fulfilling the decision taken by the Kyiv Council a month ago. The increased prices will refer only to the guests of the city. As to the Kyiv residents, the price of 0.5 hryvnia will be preserved for them for long-term tickets, i.e. they will have to buy tickets for a year,” the First Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Denis Bass said to journalists on October 31.

According to Bass, one subway ticket will cost 2 hryvnias. And a ticket for buses, trolleybuses, tramways will cost 1.5 hryvnias.
