Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko believes that the loan from the International Monetary Fund is a great victory for Ukraine.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this Thursday to journalist, adding that this decision was made on basis of agreements reached between the Ukrainian government, central bank, and IMF.

The Prime Minister stressed that the IMF credit will allow to totally stabilize the financial situation in Ukraine, to replenish the Ukrainian economics with real money, and to stabilize the banking system.

“I consider it a great victory”, the Ukrainian Prime Minister pointed out.

Yulia Tymoshenko added that the $16.5 billion loan was given under 4% of annual interest and for rather a long period. According to her, this loan indicates that Ukraine may efficiently work and agree with world financial organizations.

The Prime Minister thanked that IMF head and the IMF Mission working in Ukraine for their efficient and high-quality collaboration.
