Only every tenth child in Ukraine is immunized against tuberculosis, with only 2 percent of children being immunized against diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough. These are the lowest rates in the world. This situation has been caused by the fact that for several years good vaccine has not been available in the country, and also a lot of parents refuse vaccines for their children, it is reported.
