Grain stocks down 3.85 mln tonnes from 2005

Grain stocks are less than in 2005 in Ukraine. As of September, 1, Ukrainian farms (except small) and grain keeping and milling enterprises held 15.98 mln tonnes of grains in their stock, according to APK-Inform. It is down 3.85 mln tonnes from the previous year, reported State Statistics Committee to APK-Inform.

      In particular, Ukraine stocks 8.87 mln tonnes of wheat (against 11.78 mln tonnes in 2005).

      The main volume of grains is kept by agrarians - 9.25 mln tonnes (including 4.8 mln tonnes of wheat). Grain keeping and milling enterprises have 6.73 mln tonnes (including 4.07 mln tonnes).
