Yushchenko calls on all Ukrainian citizens to light candles

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko calls on all citizens of Ukraine to light candles in memory of Holodomor victims on November 22.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, President’s Press Secretary Iryna Vannikova claimed this to journalists on Monday.

Speaking about other measures, the President’s Press Secretary informed that the National Minute of Silence will take place at 16.00 on Nov 22. The All-Ukrainian Action “Light a Candle!” will kick off near Holodomor 1932-33 memorial in Kyiv at 16.01 on November 22.

During the action every Ukrainian may honor the memory of Ukrainians who fell victims of the genocide.
