Ukraine`s government will hold a nationwide quiz via mobile phone text message this week on knowledge of NATO, as part of efforts to boost popular support for future membership of the Western alliance.
The quiz consists of 15 questions on the organization`s history and modern global role. The winners have been promised a tour of the NATO headquarters in Brussels, Foreign Ministry spokesman Vasyl Kyrylych said on Monday.
The event was organized by the Foreign Ministry and NATO`s information center in Ukraine, and is part of publicity events to garner support for the pro-Western leadership`s drive to join the military alliance.
