Tymoshenko bids to resume privatization
Says it will reduce world crisis influence upon Ukraine`s economics
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko believes that if the privatization is resumed, it will reduce the negative influence of the world financial crisis upon the Ukrainian economics.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister claimed this at a meeting with fuel-energy complex representatives in the Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday.
“We can return to projects of fair, transparent, and competitive privatization, which may attract billions of investments into purchase of objects, as well as into their upgrading and reconstruction… It will give Ukraine an opportunity and hope to softly get through the financial crisis”, Yulia Tymoshenko claimed.
She stressed that the State Property Fund must get ready to a fair and transparent privatization of the objects which, in her opinion, have not been sold as of today due to artificial obstacles.
