Government gives 7 days for New Year holidays

Ukraine will celebrate the New Year and Christmas holidays for 7 days.

The respective resolution of the government was posted at the parliament’s web site on Thursday.

In line with the Resolution #1458-r of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, to create favorable conditions for celebration of the New Year holiday (January 1) and Christmas (January 7), the government recommends directors of companies, institutions and organizations (except of banking institutions, the Pension Fund, postal services, and the State Treasury), to postpone working days from Friday, January 2, to Saturday, January 10, from Monday, January 5, to Saturday, January 24, and from Tuesday, January 6, to Saturday, February 7.
