A nine-year-old girl has been found hanged in her home in a western Ukrainian village in an apparent suicide case, the UNIAN news agency said on Friday.
The agency said police believe the girl killed herself, although no suicide note was found, RIA Novosti reported.
The incident occurred on Wednesday in the Lutsky district of the Volhynia region. The agency said the girl`s body has been sent for a forensic examination.

The agency cited the girl`s friends as saying she had previously pretended to commit suicide "to attract attention."
An investigation is underway.
