Holiday fireworks to take place in nine Ukrainian cities

Holiday fireworks will take place in nine Ukrainian cities on occasion of the 17th anniversary of Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s press-service, the Day of Armed Forces is celebrated in Ukraine on December 6. The law On the Armed Forces of Ukraine was adopted on this day in 1991.

On occasion of the 17th anniversary of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Defense Minister Yuri Yekhanurov ordered to organize holiday fireworks in the capital, hero cities of Sevastopol, Odessa, Kerch, and also in Vinnytsya, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, and Zhytomyr, at 18.00 on December 6.
