Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Army General Viktor Muzhenko outlined key objectives for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) in 2017, according to the AFU press service.
"The first thing is the creation of its own flexible and effective training system at the level of individual troops up to SOF units. "The structure of the basic training course should take into account personification of any instructor’s responsibility for the training of a spec-ops expert. Only provided such conditions will the training center give life to 'universal soldiers'. The importance of spec-ops units obtaining combat capabilities determines the value of all components of expert training: selection, teaching, retraining and redistribution," the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on November 24, 2016, the official website of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces was launched.
