Bethlehem fire is taken to Kyiv on bicycle

The Ukrainian infantrymen accepted the Bethlehem fire from hands of Polish scouts at the frontier post Rava-Russkaya in the Lviv Oblast on December 18. Representatives of “Plast” National scout organization of Ukraine disclosed this to UNIAN.

The infantrymen with fire started immediately on bicycles from the border to Kyiv, where it will be distributed in all Oblasts of Ukraine.

Bicyclists will bring the fire to Kyiv on December 21. The solemn ceremony of transfering the Bethlehem fire to the community of Kyiv and representatives of the Oblasts will take place at 14.00 pm at Sofiyskaya Square.
