Hryvnia value to stabilize in seven days - Yushchenko
The President blames govt for bad trade policy
“I believe that in next seven days stabilization of currency market will happen”, said President Victor Yushchenko at the annual press conference, according to the President`s press-office.
“With every next day we will be seeing hryvnia more stable. And this is good news at the end of financial year”, - he said.
At the same time President reminded that currency market was badly damaged by Government’s trade policy with trade deficit in 2008 amounting to 15 billion dollars. That resulted in trade balance loss of 16 billion dollars. “The Government conducts investment, trade and economic policy in the state. It is their personal responsibility”, - said Victor Yushchenko.
