President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, on behalf of the state, vows to provide an uninterrupted transit of all energy carriers to Europe.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this at a meeting with G7 Ambassadors and the Head of Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine.
”Ukraine guarantees an uninterrupted supply of energy carriers, including the Russian gas, to Europe”, Victor Yushchenko sad.
He informed that the Ukrainian side provides regular payments for the current gas supplies.
At the same time, the President noted that the misunderstanding with the Russian side concerning the gas debt “is connected with the seasonal accumulation of gas, which was pumped to underground depositories during the summer period”.
Besides, Victor Yushchenko said, Ukraine made a part of gas payments ahead of schedule, and the second part will be transferred in January, February, March, as Ukraine consumes the gas.
