Ammonia plant of Stirol concern idle on dwindling gas
Since January 8
The ammonia plant of Stirol concern (Horlovka, the Donetsk Oblast), was idled due to dwindling gas supplies.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Donetsk Oblast State Administration industry and infrastructure department head Vitaliy Kizhayev said this to a press conference on Thursday.
According to him, the ammonia plant stood idle on January 8.
Other affected enterprises in the region include that of chemical and metallurgical industry, he noted.
“Due to dwindling gas, we made decision to cut flows to businesses, first of all. At present, gas supplies to industrial enterprises were rationed down by 50% and more”, V.Kizhayev pointed out.
