President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko points out that receipts to the state budget’s pool for the first decade of January, 2009, made up 1 billion hryvnias, or 10% of the plan for January.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the President claimed this Tuesday at a meeting with Finance Minister of Ukraine Victor Pinzenyk and c.bank head Volodymyr Stelmakh.
According to Victor Yushchenko, the state budget’s receipts over the first decade appeared to be less by 400 million hryvnias than over the same period of the year 2008. “We have a problem in the sphere of receipts. It was foreseen”, Victor Yushchenko said.
At the same time, he pointed out it’s necessary to introduce amendments into the state budget-2009, because “Ukraine will not be able to work for long with this budget”.
In his turn, the Finance Minister noted that import volumes fell in January, influencing receipts to the state budget, which are administrated by the State Customs Service.
