dollar US has remained unchanged and as of 31.08.2006 has amounted to 505.00 UAH/100 USD;
EUR has decreased by 7.78 kopiykas (1.22%) and as of 31.08.2006 has amounted to 647.309 UAH/100 EUR;
Russian Rouble has decreased by 0.009 kopiykas (0.5%) and as of 31.08.2006 has amounted to 1.8887 UAH/10 RUR.
The volume of transactions at the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine (purchase and sale in dollar equivalent) - 9221.1 USD million.
NBU interventions at the foreign exchange market of Ukraine (balance) have equaled 500.5 USD million (in Dollar equivalent).
Volume of transactions at the cash market of Ukraine (purchase and sale of foreign exchange against Hryvnia in Dollar equivalent) 3598.6 USD million, including:
- volume of foreign exchange purchased by banks from individuals - 1779.3 USD million;
- volume of foreign exchange sold to individuals - 1819.3 USD million.
Natural persons bank deposits in free-converted currency (in Dollar equivalent) have increased by 332.5 USD million and as of 31.08.2006 have amounted to 8126.0 USD million.
