Industrial production grew by 1.3% in Ukraine in March

The industrial production in Ukraine in March 2006, compared to March 2006, grew by 1.3%, and in the first quarter, compared with the same period of the last year, by 0.2%. UNIAN was informed about this at the Economics Ministry of Ukraine.

At the same time, in March 2006, compared to February, the industrial production grew by 13.3%.

According to the Economics Ministry, the growth of industrial production in March 2006, compared to March 2005, made up by branches: the extracting industry – 4.5%, processing industry – 0.8%, production and distribution of electrical energy, gas, and water – 3.7%.
