Verkhovna Rada votes to rescind C.Bank chief appointment

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has voted to rescind 2004 appointment of central bank chairman Volodymyr Stelmakh.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 227 out of 245 MPs, registered in the chamber, approved the resolution.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on Monday the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine held an extraordinary session to consider the activities of the central bank.
