Kyiv Mayor introduced paid entrance to cemeteries

Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetskiy has signed a resolution introducing a paid entrance to city cemeteries.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, deputy Mayor Vitaliy Zhuravskiy claimed this to journalists today, commenting on telephone calls from Kyiv residents who complained that they were pressed to pay for entering a cemetery.

“We introduced a paid entrance. I may confirm it”, V.Zhuravskiy noted, adding that he cannot specify the price at present. “There are different prices at different cemeteries. But the price has already been introduced”, V.Zhuravskiy said.
