The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made decision to dismiss Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy from the post of State Customs Service of Ukraine chief.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Defense Minister Yuri Yekhanurov informed journalists about the decision.

As UNIAN reported earlier, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, with his decree #42/2009, appointed Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy as top deputy head of the Ukrainian Security Service.

The text of the decree was posted at the official web site of the Ukrainian President.

With his another decree #41/2009, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko introduced amendments into the President’s decree#841 dated May 23, 2005 “On the Number of Deputies of the Ukrainian Security Service Chief”. In particular, the words “one top deputy and six deputies” were changed into “two top deputies and five deputies”.

The Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine appointed Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy as head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine on December 24, 2007.
