Faina ship has been going to the Kenya port Mombasa under escort of 5th US Navy American military ships. The ship had already gone the great part of the territory but weathers conditions became worse because of ocean currents. That is why Faina`s arrival may occur only in the morning on February, 12 2009, the Presidential press service cites the presidential press secretary Irina Vannikova as saying.
"Sailors have had an opportunity to communicate with their relatives and it influenced on their mood positively", press secretary noted.
Representatives of Ukraine`s side together with their partners from Kenya complete preparation for acceptance of ship and crew in the final port. Besides, relief crew is ready to leave for Mombasa to repair the ship, RBC-Ukraina cites Irina Vannikova as saying.
