Ukraine increased gas extraction by 1.6%

According to the latest data, Ukrainian oil-gas extracting companies increased the extraction of natural gas by 1.6% during January-September of 2006, compared with the same period of the year 2005, up to 15 billion 539.1 million cubic meters. In particular, companies of Naftohaz Ukrayiny increased the volumes of gas extraction by 0.8% - to 14 billion 388.1 million cubic meters.

UNIAN was told about this at the Fuel-Energy Ministry of Ukraine.

In September, Ukrainian oil-gas extracting companies increased natural gas extracting by 0.31%, compared with September of 2005, up to 1 billion 685.9 million cubic meters.
