Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko calls on President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn to sign a joint address to the leadership of the International Monetary Fund and express a readiness to collaborate and reform the economics.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this opening the government’s session on Wednesday.

“The Prime Minister initiates signing a joint declaration to the IMF leadership, in which we will inform that we are absolutely ready to collaborate, that we have been making preliminary steps on the economic reforms program”, Yulia Tymoshenko pointed out.

The Prime Minister says it would be reasonable if the declaration is signed by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, acting head of the Central Bank of Ukraine, and acting Finance Minister of Ukraine.

“The Prime Minister has already signed the joint declaration… I’m confident that our collaboration with IMF will continue in the coming days, it will be successful and finish with receiving a regular tranche to support the currency and financial markets of Ukraine”, she noted.
