Official unemployment level in Ukraine makes 3.2%

On February 1, 2009, the level of registered unemployment in Ukraine made up 3.2% of able-to-work population.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, the unemloyment showing in the countryside made up 5.3%, in cities – 2.3%.

The highest level of unemployement was recorded in the Cherkassy Oblast (5.4%), the lowest – in Kyiv (0.7%).
