President Victor Yushchenko wrote a letter to Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko with request to personally supervise investigation of the incident in Myrne village, Crimea, where actions of servicemen of ‘Berkut’ special unit caused injuries to innocent man, according to the President`s press-office.
“As the head of state I am deeply concerned about unprofessional actions of police officers causing injuries to an innocent man”, - said Victor Yushchenko in the latter.
