Ukraine pledged to pay for Russian gas delivered in February in full and on time, Russian gas giant Gazprom`s spokesman said Monday.

In telephone talks between Gazprom`s CEO Alexei Miller and Ukraine`s Naftogaz chief Oleg Dubina, "they agreed the Ukrainian side will pay in full and on time gas delivered in February, and Gazprom will not impose fines", Sergei Kupryanov said as quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency.

Russian energy giant Gazprom has warned it will again cut off gas to Ukraine on March 8 if Kiev does not pay back 400 million dollars (313 million euros) of new debts, Russia`s Kommersant daily reported on Thursday.
