The prices in transport in Ukraine in February increased by 24.6% compared with February 2008.
It is posted at the web site of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
The prices for purchasing of transport vehicles increased by 24.4%, for fuel and oils – by 7.6%, for transport services – by 35.2% (passenger railway transport – by 18.3% and passenger road transport – by 39.8%).
The prices in communications services sphere in February increased by 6%, post services rose in price twice, cost of telephone and fax services increased by 5%.
Prices in recreation and culture sphere in February increase by 21.5%, at the same time the price of audio equipment, photo and computer equipment increased by 14.3%, newspapers, books and stationery rose in price by 20.7%.
The cost of services in restaurants and hotels in February increased by 26.1% compared with February 2008.
