Leader of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Vassyl Kyrylych said at the press conference today that interest in these contacts was confirmed by results of the second joint session of the Committee on business cooperation with Ukraine of Japanese business federation “Keidanren” and the Coordination council on economic cooperation issues, which took place in Tokyo last week.
Particularly, the arrangement on organization of visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko to Japan at the end of March and Foreign Minister of Japan to Ukraine during the year was reached.
According to the words of V. Kyrylych, the Ukrainian and Japanese sides agreed to study possibilities of interaction in overcoming the consequences of the world economic crisis in Ukraine.
