RAO UES International and Ukrinterenergo signed a contract on Wednesday for electricity supplies from Ukraine, according to RBC. Under the terms of the agreement, Ukrinterenergo will provide between 200 and 800 MW of electrical power per month. The new accord has been drafted under agreements reached between the two countries` prime ministers.

       The document is evidence of progress in Russian-Ukrainian cooperation in the power industry, which also envisages joint supplies of Ukrainian and Russian electricity to Moldova, transit of electricity generated at the Moldovan GRES power plant through Ukraine into Russia, and implementation of mutual investment projects.
