The Presidential Secretariat does not rule out that Ukraine may change the procedure of entry in the country for European Union citizens, if EU does not facilitate the visa regime for Ukrainians.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, deputy President’s Chief of Staff Andriy Honcharuk claimed this to a press conference on Wednesday.

According to him, today analysts and experts propose numerous variants, in particular, to introduce visas for EU citizens, to introduce a fee for entry, to restrict the period of visit to 30 days, and the like.

A.Honcharuk noted there is the fourth variant – to not do anything, but the recent monitoring of the situation has indicated that, despite the agreement on facilitated visa regime between Ukraine and EU joined into force, Ukrainians still face problems with receiving EU visas.

According to A.Honcharuk, most of visas are given for a short period of time, and very often European embassies demand such a huge packages of documents that really contradict common sense.
