Ukraine’s hryvnia strengthened against the dollar, headed for its biggest weekly advance since the beginning of March, Bloomberg reported.

The currency added 0.4 percent to 8.0600 per dollar by 10:03 a.m. in Kiev, 2 percent stronger than a week ago. It gained for a fifth straight day versus the euro, rising 0.6 percent to 10.5820 per euro and up 3.1 percent in the week.
