Negative foreign trade balance in Ukraine made up $708 million

The negative foreign trade balance in Ukraine in January-February of 2008 made up $708.3 million compared to $2 billion 758.5 million in January-February of 2008.

UNIAN was told about this at the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

According to the information of the Committee, the export of commodities trimmed by 38.6% in January-February of the current year compared to the same period of the previous year – to $ 5 billion 132.1 million dollars, and the import – by 47.5%, to $5 billion 840.4 million.

Ukraine carried out foreign trade operations with partners from 181 world countries.
