Nearly $1.4 billion of the regular tranche of the International Monetary Fund will be channelled to cover the state budget deficit.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to a press conference on Friday.

“A half of the tranche, which is disbursed for Ukraine, may be channelled to the country’s budget, in line with preliminary agreements”, Yulia Tymoshenko said.
