Ukraine does not use the amounts of Russian natural gas provided for in the bilateral contract dated January 19, President Viktor Yushchenko said, Itar-Tass reported.
“We have fixed amounts of gas that I am convinced Ukraine does not use,” he told a press conference on Wednesday.
He said this would entail serious penalties.
