Kyiv to celebrate Day of Europe on May 16

This year, Kyiv will celebrate the Day of Europe on May 16.

According to the press-service of the Kyiv City State Administration, the main measures will take place in the Khreshchatyk Street, where a “European Town” will be pitched during 14.00 – 17.00. It will include pavilions, representing all EU member countries, international organizations, and a Corner of National Cuisines. All those willing will have opportunity to visit language courses and take part in public debates.

The official opening ceremony of the Day of Europe in Ukraine will take place at the Maydan Nezalezhnosti Square during 14.00 – 14.30.

A holiday concert will take place at the same square during 16.00 – 21.00.
